Article I.Introduction
This charter outlines the principles and main functions of the Tottori International Fan Club. Fan Club Members should be non-Japanese citizens who have lived in Tottori Prefecture for an extended period of time, who exhibit an exceptional understanding of the Prefecture of Tottori, and who through active participation in the Fan Club international network, should contribute to the internationalization of Tottori even after returning to their home countries.
Article II. Membership
Members should have lived in Tottori Prefecture for over 6 months and be planning on returning to their home country.

Membership is open to the following persons:
Former technical trainees sponsored by the Tottori Prefectural Government
Former study abroad students sponsored by the Tottori Prefectural Government
Former CIRs (Coordinators for International Relations)
Former ALTs (Assistant Language Teachers)
Former SEAs (Sports Exchange Advisors)
Item 2
In addition to the above categories, the Governor will select members who he or she deems suitable.
Item 3
The Prefecture shall issue a Membership Certificate for all new members.
Article III. Club Activities
Members are engaged in the following activities:
Introduction and word-of-mouth promotion of Tottori to heighten awareness of Tottori in the member’s home region.
Periodical reports of activities in home region. (On at least an annual basis.)
Item 1
Members will receive newsletters and information from the Prefectural Office to assist in promotional activities.
Item 2
The prefecture will provide resources and materials to assist in promotional activities at the request of Fan Club members.
Article IV. Member Certification
Membership expires after the first year. However members may renew on a yearly basis.
