とっとりふるさと大使制度実施要綱

（趣旨）
第１条　この要綱は、本県にゆかりのある者を通して、本県の魅力を広く国内外にＰＲするため設置する「とっとりふるさと大使」（以下「大使「という。」の制度の実施に関し必要な事項を定めるものとする。

（対象）
第２条　大使は、次の各号に掲げる者を対象とする。
（１）県外で活躍している本県ゆかりの者
（２）「語学指導等を行う外国青年招致事業」により県で勤務した国際交流員
（３）その他前２号に掲げる者と同等に第４条第１項に定める活動を行うことができると認められる者

（委嘱）
第３条　知事は、前条の対象者で、本人も本県をＰＲする意欲を有する者の中から、適当であると認める者を大使として委嘱することができる。
２　前項の委嘱は、委嘱状を交付して行う。
３　大使の任期は、第５条の規定により解嘱されるまでとする。

（活動等）
第４条　大使は、必要に応じて、次の各号に掲げる活動を行うものとする。
（１）県の紹介及び宣伝
（２）その他知事が必要と認める活動
２　県は大使が前項の活動を行うため、「とっとりふるさと大使」の名刺を提供するなど必要な便宜を図るよう努めるものとする。

（解嘱）
第５条　知事は、大使が次の各号のいずれかに該当することとなったときは、これを解嘱することができる。
（１）前条第1項に掲げる活動を行うことができなくなったと認められるとき
（２）大使としての適格性を欠くに至ったとき
（３）本人が希望するとき

（その他）
第６条　この要綱に定めるもののほか、大使の制度の実施について必要な事項は別に定める。

附則
第１条　この要綱は、平成１７年２月７日から施行する。

（経過措置）
第２条　この要綱の施行の際、現に旧要綱第３条第１項の規定により、大使に委嘱されている者は、この要綱第３条第１項の規定により大使に委嘱されている者とみなす。

(Preamble)

Article I 　　

This charter outlines the stipulations for membership as a Tottori Furusato Ambassador (Hereafter referred to as an “Ambassador.”)　

Ambassadors, through their close connections with Tottori, will aim to promote Tottori's unique charm to the world.

(Eligibility) 　　

Article II 　

An Ambassador shall be a non-Japanese citizen who: 　

　1) Has a close association with Tottori Prefecture;

　2) Has worked in Tottori Prefecture in the fields of language education or youth exchange through a recognized International Program;

　3) Is deemed to be able to fulfill the duties stipulated under Article IV: Item 1.

(Selection)

Article III 　

　1) Any person judged by the Governor to be able to satisfy the above eligibility requirements shall be invited to join the Ambassador network.

　2) An Ambassador approved according to the above process shall receive a Membership Acceptance Notice.

　3) Terms of Office are described under Article V. 　

 

(Duties)

Article IV

　Ambassadors shall agree to fulfill the following duties:

　(1) Introduction and promotion of Tottori Prefecture;

　(2) Other duties requested by the Governor.

Ambassadors will, in order to assist them in the above duties, receive official business cards and other promotional materials useful for their public relations projects.
